Further, episode outcome data is rolled up by care type, impairment, clinician, practice, and organization, and compared to similar risk adjusted data from over a thousand practices at quarterly and annual intervals. This is to ensure a practice or clinician treating primarily assisted living or Medicare patients is not unfairly compared to one treating otherwise healthy young professionals.

Actual vs. Predicted FS Score Outcomes

When actual changes to functional scores are compared with predicted FS Score changes, customers can assess effectiveness of treatment. Reporting can be summarized at the clinician or clinic level, and can even be aggregated over a chain of clinics. The actual change in risk-adjusted FS Scores compared to the predicted change, is one of the primary measures of treatment effectiveness.

Actual vs Predicted Number of Visits Benchmark

Our extensive database also supports benchmarking a predicted number of visits required to help the patient improve to the predicted FS Score. This is an efficiency comparison and is another important data point to consider when evaluating your performance. It also produces an utilization index value, the number of visits divided into the amount of improvement in the FS Score.

Patient Satisfaction Comparisons

We also provide predicted values for patient satisfaction compared against similar episodes and patient profiles, and benchmark performance against the mean performance of our customer database.
